What are the pros and cons of the ACCA vs CFA?

I think ACCA is known as CPA in US

like

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but is being a CA carry much more weight than a CPA is in the US? I heard the CA exam is much harder.

I’m a US based CFA charter holder and honestly never heard of the ACCA

OP what is your goal?

Do you want to be an accountant or controller or do you want to manage money and or understand finance (CFA)?

I work in transaction services and deal tech

What’s your goal? I can talk about the CFA, just finished and got my charger 2 weeks ago. CFA is a long, arduous process. It’s really not worth it unless you have a specific field you want to break into like private wealth management, portfolio management, fixed income, or equity research.

Hi, where or what types of companies should sophomores & juniors apply for next summer (2022) to recruit for IB the following summer (2023)? This summer BBs wrapped up SA IB recruitment, EBs even earlier, and a fair amount of my friends missed out big time.

Also, if a sophomore or junior doesn’t get a finance-related summer internship (I.e tech) and aims for an IB SA or FT position, is it harder to break in?

Appreciate any advice and insight, thank you.

Considering taking a position with a small-cap in the US trying to build their legal department. The title is standard “counsel” although the work would be with the senior leadership team and reporting to the GC in Europe. How reasonable is it to ask for a bump in title - Senior counsel or Head of Legal, US? If it matters, I am a 6th year and have been told that I will be expected to hire a junior or paralegal as we build up.

What does an exit from Salesforce consulting look like? I’m in a technical role leading a small team so my understanding is a technical/solution architect or a development team lead at either Salesforce or an end user like Amazon/Amex.

I have bounced around a couple consulting companies so would prefer not to do it again. Total 4 YOE.

I don’t think I have enough YOE to go for a program architect role at SF otherwise I’d be interested.

New York folks:
Are you aware of the CPA exam credit extension to 2021 for NY CPA candidates impacted by COVID19? It’s on a person-by-person basis and you need to request the extension. Has anyone tried doing this yet? Can anyone shine more light on this? The extension would really help me, but I’m not sure what more to tell them in my email than the fact that I couldn’t sit for the exams this Spring/Summer due to test centers closing in NYC.

I got interviewed at infosys two days back.
When can I expect to hear back from them.

At last I asked the interviewer about feedback as in where was I wrong. He said at couple of places and he explained me where was I wrong.
