Hi, I'm working with the EY UK in finance transformation consulting. Wanted to ask, how feasible is it to get a gig with the US firm? Since consulting has many opportunities across the pond, wanted to gain US experience as well.

Within my first year of Consulting, really struggling with the hours amongst other things. Spoken to a couple of people internally and the advice is to get on to projects with bigger budgets and therefore bigger teams/more support. I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Anyone here moved from strategy to account?

Recently got a contract job at Facebook NY. I’m interviewing for an EA (not your typical role) to a serial entrepreneur/CEO who is also interviewing for a Chief of Staff. They have mentioned I would make a great CoS based on my prev experience & could see me being a COO in the next 10 yrs. After playing back our last meet, I realise the CEO was trying to tease out of me/get me to probe on interest for CoS role. I am interested but also don’t want to talk myself out of the EA role as I really want to work for this individual – advice pls?
