What are your thoughts of news media continuing to feed racist views? 3 recent examples. Story 1: Old white man shoots black teenager that knocks on the wrong door. News states definitely race driven. Story 2: 2 teens arrested for shooting at birthday party. No mention of race but pictures show shooters and victims were black. Story 3: Man shoots 6 yr old girl when basketball rolls into his yard. No mention that shooter was black and family shot white. Why mention race at all?

Is it culturally racist to be against cultural artifacts that are counter to your values? For example glorification of murder in outlaw southern rock, heavy metal, or some hip hop.

I’m convinced that the reason some of these firms are so prestigious is because they have intentionally exclusionary recruitment practices. I used to believe that you had to already be rich to get hired at MBB. Now being on the other side of the recruitment process , I really do feel that it rings true. I hate the way we evaluate candidates and decide on who is “high priority” during coffee chats.
