What budget software do you/clients have experience with and would recommend?

I’m the finance director at a nonprofit who is very over using excel and looking for options.

Adaptive Planning and Vena are good options

Vena is a good option. Concur has a budget module.

I use YNAB for personal budgeting but I can’t see it being useful for much more than a very small business.

Martus Solutions is a great plug and play budgeting tool and is more affordable than Adaptive. I’m not sure about Vena. If your on Sage Intacct or QBO, they have a direct integration to Martus which is a plus.

Hello, I am looking for a referral Strategy& PwC for graduate programs in the UK for Management Consulting.

Can someone help?

I'm considering accepting a job where I'd make about 50% less than my total compensation, but I'd get a lot more freedom, creativity, and there would be more growth opportunities. What would you do?

New grad students have started asking about my experience in the program. Should I be honest and tell them how horrible it was? Or avoid the question and let them form their own opinion?

Who’s the cutie running the Deloitte instagram today?

Hey everyone I had a call with a manager I used to work with. He wants me back with the company. I had a successful interview with the team and they basically informed me that I have the position. HR reached out and asked for my expected salary and I turned it back on them. He responded back that they can't give out salary ranges and I should review the role and get back to him....

What should I do?

Hi Bowlers,

Had a few job offers on the table from CPG and Tech (non-FAANG) companies for Senior Analyst type roles.

Without negotiating it seems like Tech pays more, is that true? Or can I still negotiate more with CPG companies?

I know that usually you need to put your 2 weeks when leaving, but is it possible to put only one? I heard other companies even say you can leave now and they pay you the 2 weeks, anyone familiar with this?

I’m a second year Senior Associate in tax and have 5 years experience in my group. Could I get a Manager position by switching jobs? Or am I too inexperienced?

Currently a second year associate in audit and looking for - as ridiculous as it sounds - better pay and better hours. I really like audit but I have only been with the firm for a little over a year and i’m burnt out and worse, starting to lose passion for it. I think the long hours are just not for me. Any recommendations of industries/ careers where an audit experience fits well? (As a side note, I’m considering changing practice within the firm, but wanted to look at all options).

Don’t believe mid-tier firms who tell you that you will have better work-life balance than the Big 4. If you want work-life balance, you will need to exit public accounting.
The more you know 🌈

Currently in IT Audit. Are there any other types of jobs at big 4 I could apply to that are more interesting but don’t require travel.

I’m a Tax Senior at a Mid Tier Firm and I’m looking to leave before the 2022 Busy Season. I’m really struggling with what positions to look for or what I would be qualified to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I’m open to either tax or accounting positions.
