What companies where you currently work or have in the past have true "cultures of feedback"? In addition to having processes in place, people regularly give timely, actionable, direct feedback to their peers , to their direct reports (if applicable) and their manager? I am trying to idenitfy some of the best in class organizations with this muscle.

Director 1 makes such a good point. Many people use the label “feedback” as a cover to bully others. Whenever I hear someone say, “I’m just keeping it real,” I know they want to be hurtful and offensive without consequences.

Yes agree--looking for places where there is direct feedback aimed at making everyone better!

I’ve heard Bridgewater Associates has this but that it can be brutal. As in, feedback is not always shared constructively.

Thanks Director 1

Big firm so obviously huge variances between practices and teams that are actually executing this well. But I’ve worked at 4 organizations and Deloitte Consulting was by far the best at this.

Hi Everyone!

A company has made an offer and I wanted to understand if i'm being made a fool.

The monthly compensation is 1,37,500 (16,50,000 yearly) and Variable component (Bonus) is 1,50,000.

However in the offer it says "You shall be paid an annual compensation of Rs. 16,50,000/- per annum Cost to Company."

Which to me sounds like it doesn't consider 1,50,000 to be a part of CTC which is suspicious to me.

How should I deal with this?

Thank you!

Biz owners/entrepreneurs: Any tips on how to answer questions where the interviewer would want to know why I’d want to work for a company if I have my own. I’d want to reassure them that I have no intentions of leaving their company for mine or that there wouldn’t be competing priorities between us. I have a small photography biz. When this came up in an interview how did you address it? On my resume it does show that I’m currently a photographer w/ my own biz. I was selected for an interview.

I am interested in is knowing, a) if companies track KPIs and how do they do it b) (to be continued in comment)
