Treat your teammates as if they were a client. This means setting clear expectations around timelines for your deliverables, communicating progress succinctly, and ideally delivering ahead of target. In the end, your work should not cause any headaches.
Hi!
Here’re some that come to my mind:
- creativity & resourcefulness - coming up with new ideas, new strategies, being solution-oriented... especially in those moments when situations might be more challenges. Instead of coming to them with what’s not working and what problems are, you want to present the situation as it is and immediately offer your ideas & potential solutions;
- being proactive - towards your Clients and senior leaders - keeping everyone up to date and ensuring smooth conversations;
- showing up as someone who is curious & open to learning. Also as someone who welcomes feedback and puts suggestions for improvement into action. Also - being someone who gives constructive feedback;
- your overall attitude and behaviour - how you come across? How you interact with others? What kind of energy you bring with you in conversations?
- being independent and team player at the same time - when you have opportunities, engage with projects and responsibilities that might not necessarily be something you “must do”. Also, offer support to others when needed.
These are some on top of my mind :)
Wish you all the best on your journey!
Anything can be taught at an AE level. I look more at the soft skills; cultural fit, energy, ability to be articulate, proactive mindset, strong work ethic, etc...
