There will probably be more older people than younger people in the future due to declining birth rates. That will lead to fewer people joining LE, so the current personnel l have to work longer due to a lack of turnover between the old and new personnel.
I think it would be police recruitment and retention. One reason is that we are underpaid. We cannot deny that.
I second the recruitment. The police has not been seen in the best light so it will likely be a decline in recruitment from Gen Z
The misconception because of the bad reputation. It's a serious challenge for them now. Every one is very hesitant talking to law enforcement authorities. People have prejudice towards us.
