16 weeks for both mothers and fathers

Literally every agency in Canada.
16 weeks regardless of gender or primary/secondary caregiver.
3 months for mothers 6 weeks for dads 100% pay
1 week for mothers and fathers. Pathetic. Oh but if you use all your vacation, sick, personal days and disability you can get a whole 6 weeks!
16 weeks paid for both parents. May be broken up into 2 segments. Eligible immediately upon hire.
We get approximately 6 months. Option to take a few weeks before due date and then standard time after. They also make you whole in terms of pay (for those unaware you are often at partial salary during this time if your company doesn’t make up difference between disability and salary/bonus). Discounts on nursing/pumping supplies, great mothers rooms on return. New ramp up policy - you start back 50% for a few weeks at full pay to get you used to new routine/ease in. Other parents (dad’s or same sex partners) also get v good leave - something like 16 weeks or more. I’d have loved a year, but it’s so much better than so many parents have in the industry and beyond I am not complaining!!!

SC1 yay. It's not a great situation. But it's ok, they claim to care about their employees so at least I can chew on their words while I'm scraping by and cursing them while on leave.
for moms. 12 weeks paid but you can take up to 20 weeks unpaid and keep your position. For secondary caregivers (mostly dads) I think it is 6 weeks?

Unlimited overtime to cover for people on leave.
Current agency has 6 weeks paid but I started a couple weeks pregnant so I get nothing. Yay!
