My current role is hybrid with at least two days a week in office. However, with the potential economic downturn, I'm considering holding on to the role to supplement my income.

I'm new to the overemployed movement, so I'm evaluating the feasibility of holding onto the hybrid role and the remote position.

Looking for an entry level non exempt positions. I've been in and out of both food service and retail for years. I know what I'm worth and I know how strong my work ethic is. I do not enjoy having carrots dangling out of reach, preventing me from furthering my career. Seems all this 20 something year olds are getting what I feel I do deserve (no ego). I'm fairly experienced in management and am willing to learn more.

MIS Junior here. Should I graduate next May and start working or get my Masters in MIS and have 1 more internship? I have had two internships already (Business Analyst & QA/Automation Scripting) and I am interning in Cyber this summer at a Top 10 firm. Should I get my masters and try to intern with b4/MBB in cyber consulting or just graduate next May?

Best books for U.S. Corporate Tax similar to Logic of Subchapter K for partnerships? I’ve historically worked extensively with partnerships and starting to branch out into more “Core” corporate M&A Tax and looking for a helpful resource to get up to speed.

I can really use some direction. My background, I've worked 2 years in strategy and am currently coming off an exhausting year 2 in investment banking. I didn't particularly enjoy either role and am not interested in moving over to the buy-side or some monotonous FP&A role. I am actively working as a mechanical engineer in the refrigeration industry. However, I have worked and studied in the spare parts and battery department in the automotive sector for close to ten years, my technical and practical knowledge is more than my age

1st yr at a nyc v50 firm doing general transactional work. I know the lateral market for transactional lawyers is hot but not as hot for juniors. I just want a change of scenery because my current firm is bleeding good associates / not giving great training imo / and just seems small. Would lateralling this early feasible? Desi parents: what time do your kids go to sleep at night? We have a 23 mo and his bedtime schedule starts at 6:30 PM and he sleeps by 7 PM. This was suggested by our sleep consultant and has worked well for us, but recently we are getting a lot of hate for not bringing our toddler to evening dinners etc. We are being told that most kids sleep around 9 PM or being asked to put the toddler in one of the rooms. Every kid in my husbands family apparently doesn't sleep before 9 PM or later.

There’s no such thing as side projects, in my eyes. Every project is an opportunity to display your creativity, and the few you’re most proud of make it to your book. Generally, the consensus these days is that we want our advertising to not look/feel like advertising. So, why should you be concerned to separate what was and wasn’t “advertising?”

Trying to refresh my portfolio and thinking about switching to a different platform, what are my fellow copywriters’ fave sites to use?? I’m currently using wix since it’s free, but it’s given me many headaches trying to get it how I want my portfolio to look. I’m also looking into Copyfolio as well.
