What experience with exit opportunities do people have at a middle market TAS practice? Long term want to make it to CFO or VP Finance level. MBA is not currently a possibility.

I'm the hiring mgr for designers in my org. I recently discovered pay band information given to me by the HR generalist I'm working with on hiring was outdated and updated bands had been released over the summer (prior to my hire date). The outdated information had led me to believe a prime candidate was out of range. Aside from incompetence, can anyone think of a reason why HR might have withheld information about the pay bands? I assume mgrs see the full monty when it comes to pay...right?

Currently completing my first year as Senior in Audit and its become pretty apparent that going through the whole manager pipeline isn't really what I'd like to do. What’s the strangest / most unexpected FDD exit you’ve heard of?

Has anyone transferred to FDD in late manger years (M2/M3) from audit or accounting advisory? Has the transition been hard? Any advise would be appreciated!

Can anyone share their experiences in PwC delivering deal advisory? What’s a typical day for a senior? What are pay and hours like? I was sure I wanted to do FDD but I just came across this type of work and the hours seem better and it isn’t all accounting based. Appreciate the help.

For Seniors and Managers in FDD, what is the manager’s role on projects? It’s only me and a director at my firm. I find myself taking on all duties of the job outside of establishing the fee and doing the final review of the databook/report. Trying to gage if that’s totally normal for an SA
