What has been the impact of harassment allegations on new business? Are clients avoiding tainted agencies?

Do partners sometimes say nice things about your work just to encourage you and less so because the work merits the compliment? Or is my impostor syndrome really messing with my head?

I found out last night that a senior copywriter at my agency who does little follow-up and passes off work to others (read: me) to handle when there are questions from team members…was recently promoted to copy supervisor.

Trust me when I say that this person can’t supervise putting toothpaste on a toothbrush. Must be nice to be liked by the right people.

My Best friend is getting engaged coming Tuesday and my leave is not getting approved. My manager is on leave herself (Mngr got married two days ago, to her boss) and she is not approving my leave, saying you should go when I am not there... I absolutely want to attend the engagement function!

My previous manager would track us by hours daily, made a fuss everytime anything stretched and guilt us for that and the unplanned leave too unless it was COVID. Hinted him a lot of time, this is problematic but apparently he considered it "standard practice for agile".

Now 8/10 teammates have switched within < 1 year of project start (6-7 months with him) which tbh had good work in our opinion and even team was fun to work with even though none of us ever met in person.

What should you do about a subordinate who doesn't respect authority, delivers late and/or poor projects but is transitioning off your account in a few weeks? (additional details in 1st post)

The crazy thing is they were just named the best local municipality to work for. It's upsetting. They advertise a "culture" but don'tapply it. If I arrive after the boss in the morning (which is usually 8:30am) he won’t say good morning to me. I say good morning and it’s dead silent. Is that extremely rude or what? It feels like he’s training a dog into obedience.

I am seriously worried. I am doing my co-op and my supervisor is not giving me an easy time.
