What is an appropriate salary range for a 10+ year plaintiffs personal injury attorney in the Bay Area? Recruiters I have spoken to say that associates don’t clear 200K usually. Is that true? I do not get a cut of settlements. I probably bring in on average 2 mil in attorneys fees yearly.

recruiters prob are referring to base since thats what they would get a cut of. Most very sr associates cap out around 200k base in any PI shop. Partners make more but we all know that base isnt the game its the structure

like

You can make a hell of a lot more than 200k if you’re bringing cases and can negotiate a cut of them, especially if you’re litigating, and even more so if you’re trying cases.

The last firm I worked at before I started my own place gave 1/3 of the attorney’s fees for all cases brought in, and 1% of all cases handled otherwise. What’s your current base & commission setup?

Anytime, best of luck with everything!

When mindtree will release the increment letters for annual apprisals

Hello peeps,
I’m an SC and new to Deloitte Australia. I had few questions.
1. When/which month do we get increments/hikes in a year? Is it twice a year or just once?
2. What’s an average % increase in pay each year?
3. How many years does it usually take for a promotion from SC to M?

So I've been at my job for 5+ years as a data analyst/back office support team. I made my way up into making a little over $40k. I've been WFH the past 2 yrs and overtime more than half my team has now been pulled out to work for a diff department which resulted in me taking 90% of our daily tasks to handle. I'm at a point where the salary I'm getting is disrespectfully low for all the work I do. Should I ask for a raise? And if so, how do I go about asking without sounding greedy.

Hi!! I’m an HR Coordinator currently (about two years of experience) but my job has so many responsibilities and tasks I’m beyond burnt out. It’s truly impossible to focus on one task because things are constantly being thrown my way. I’ve heard whisperings of a promotion or raise, but my workload is already too much, I don’t know if I’d want to accept more responsibility. Is it normal to feel like you have just as many responsibilities as your superiors who make 30k+ more than you?

Looking for advice…I currently make $85k + 35% bonus. I’m interviewing for a job that I now know pays $70k + 15% bonus. Obviously that’s a steep cut. The only reasons I’m still interested are that it’s in crypto operations which I’d like to transition to, and it’s back on the east coast closer to family. We want our daughter growing up with them around. Any thoughts on negotiating a higher salary? Or, any experiences on taking a pay cut and what went into your decision to do so? Thanks!

I’m curious to hear how agencies are structuring their media fees (10%? 15%? 20%!? of spend) Any performance bonus structures? Would love context too. Platforms you’re responsible for? (Fb only? However, I don’t want to feel like I wasted 2 years clerking (which I don’t feel like that, but I have to convince an employer of that too). Any help or insight?

Anyone know a Connecticut or 2nd circuit case for this rule? I can’t find one to save my life. A defendant generally is liable for all harmful results that are the normal incidents of and within the increased risk caused by their negligent acts. I currently work at a small PI firm in Atlanta were EVERYTHING is settled presuit. If we’re unable to settle, then it’s referred to another firm for litigation. This whole process seems very atypical to me and the attorneys rarely touch a file until the first liability offer is received. The paralegals handle everything from intake to drafting the demands. The attorney briefly skims (does NOT read) the demand packages and signs. Is this ethical?? Anyone else work at a firm that is run this way??
