What is everyone doing for masks? Any good masks with a window for speechreading?

I have an appointment to get lip fillers for the first time. I want natural looking results, nothing too big. I know it takes time to settle, but will I be able to go to work the next day without it being noticeable?

Newish to FIRE (really after FI). Finally switched to a HDHP in 2021 and got around to setting the investment portion today. Wish I had known about this years earlier. Grateful for the FIRE community and one step closer to getting out of the rat race.

Lost 5lbs in one week by pushing my first meal of the day back to 11:30am. Probably can’t consider it to be intermittent since I don’t have a hard cut off time for when I stop eating at the end of the day but I’m really happy that this small adjustment is working! 

How do you help someone get out of depression?

Hi.. I’m really struggling lately with stress and anxiety. I’ve always had depression but it’s been more maniac and often manageable. I’m at my breaking point now and don’t know what to do. I made an appt with my doctor (PA) tomorrow. Will they prescribe me an anxiety medicine? What should I ask for? I’m looking for something low dose and minimal side effects. Help!!

Do you work the holidays into your lesson plans this time of year? Or is it too much of a distraction from your routine? Teaching a SPED music class this year and the students have finally *mostly* become comfortable in the room and with the instruments + noise. We usually work on the same songs each week for one month, but I'm thinking of switching it up and doing Christmas/Holiday songs next week as a send off into break. I work with mostly autistic students.

I'm 22 and planning to take a life insurance. I'm comparing all policies and max life seems attractive as it has good claim settlement ratio and less premiums. But there is no office near our area. My worry is that if there is a need to claim in future, it can be done all online by my nominee? Is it recommended to take policy online in any platform(like policybazaar)?
Other options I'm considering are SBI life, HDFC life which offices are available in my locality.

What's the biggest health myth you've heard that you'd like to bust? Mine is that supplements are always a healthier option than prescription or OTC meds. A lot of the supplements on the shelf contain all types of unnatural ingredients and can still be harmful depending on the dosage.

Why are people now treating e-mail as instant messaging? I work with several people that for some reason expect all emails to be answered within minutes of being received….
