Hi sharks,
One of friend joined Tata Consultancy last aug and he is not satisfied with the package (7+ yoe and 10LPA) so he tried hard and now got IBM(18lpa) and Infosys (16lpa)
He dropped paper in TCS and then he was so confused and don't want to join any other organisation because of the job security and other benefits of tcs he asked his manager to increase pacakge manager denied and even with 0 hike my friend told he will revoke the resignation but the manager (cont in comments)

WLB is a myth.
In most companies, both are inversely proportional to each other.
I think the two are part of each other. You need a fair salary in order to maintain a healthy work-life balance. But assuming that salary is fair and that we are comparing a high increase with a good work-life balance, then I would go for the latter. In fact I would happily forgo my promotion for a 4 days work week, for example!
Learning during first few years, wlb in the next few years and salary in the last few years.
This is a tough question. I think you have enough work life balance to upskill yourself and pursue your interests, automatically job offers and salary will come with it
