I think more full service midlaw than boutique.
Full service mid law. Litigation group is construction heavy, but they do a little of everything. I’m a former MH associate that moved to big law and would go back if they did work in my practice area (very niche area).
I don’t think in-house would be hard because I’ve seen in-house in DFW from all kinds of law firms, including small 2-10 people shops.
In terms of reputation, I have never heard of big law boutique being used to describe anyone. But that aside, I haven’t heard anything bad about Munsch Hardt. I have a decent impression of them, but not exactly sure why (I can’t pinpoint anything good or bad anyone has said about them).
Susman, Kasowitz…would disagree on never heard of big law boutique
New leadership taking over which I think the Firm needs and will be a great reset. No problems going in-house from there as many do.
Excellent reputation as a full-service mid market law firm with sophisticated work. Several partners and a few associates have made the jump to in-house and remain on good terms with Munsch.
Happy to discuss further via DM
Good rep. Many former Big Law attorneys go to Munsch. I just saw a litigator go in house from the Houston office. When I think of Munsch, I think construction lit and real estate but they are full service.
I’ve got a construction firm hiring now.
I place at MH, actually just placed in Houston and know the team well. Happy to discuss
