I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? My wife started as an M at Accenture earlier this year coming from industry. I’ve never worked at Accenture or any b4, but I had to explain to her how up or out works. She also didn’t know that she came in with 24 months at level and what that meant. Really surprised none of this was communicated during hiring or by her manager.

Maybe she wants to know which companies you are already interviewing with - since she would not get commission for introducing you to them. In theory she would focus on getting you introduced to other companies.
Unless you are in a very niche industry/function, external recruiters are a dime a dozen. No need to work with someone who doesn’t respect your time and is passive aggressive.
Exactly on point. Recruiters are a dime a dozen. Some of them get super push and aggressive because it’s literally a sales job for them. I drop/ignore dozens of recruiters in my LinkedIn inbox all the time. Mostly because you can tell that they literally copy and paste their intro emails to candidates all the time.
I don’t understand the question
From what I can surmise the situation sounds unprofessional. Though, you are in charge of the what information you’re willing to provide. My response would be … 1) The other companies are competitors - and out of respect for their privacy and mine, I am not comfortable sharing that information, and 2) Not responding to your email was intentional - as I am respecting our time now, by being fully engaged - I yielded that time to the interviewer to respect his/ her time, as well.
She’s a recruiter for ‘X’ firm sending you positions at ‘Y’ firm?
That is a red flag to have a recruiter with a passive-aggressive attitude. Imagine if that is acceptable at a recruiting level and what to expect later once working for the company.
She's works at a recruiting firm but I doubt the companies she's sending me roles for would appreciate someone giving a bad impression of the role because of her attitude
Hmm that is a red flag to me as well. I don't know that I would be answering those questions. Its really none of the recruiters business.
It's normal for recruiters. Especially if they are not affiliated with just one company. But the way she handles a candidate seems unprofessional.
She also asked me to be honest about why I left my last company so I can "find rhe best way to re phrase it for potential employers." For context I quit my job before I had something lined up, and I always frame it as lack of growth I wanted at my previous place + wanting some time off
I wouldn’t engage in a debate about what is normal to share. The recruiter will just try to debate what is normal. Some recruiters are overly aggressive. Some seem to be focused more on collecting data than actually filling roles.
Share what you’re comfortable sharing. Decline if not. Don’t be bullied by an aggressive recruiter who gives you a bad vibe. I doubt there will be a positive outcome.
