What is realistic target compensation I should expect for senior consultant at EY in wealth and asset management

Would be coming in from industry (associate level now), 2yoe, nyc office

Can I negotiate for SC2? If I stay in current role I expect to make manager equivalent in 2-3yrs.

They made around $80-85k this year (not including bonus), but expecting that salary to go up come the end of the fiscal year with inflation and everything.

With 2 years you probably won’t be able to get SC2, since it takes people internally working at EY for 3 years to get to that level. Typically you could only negotiate that with more than 3 years of other related experience.

like

Yeah comp is not great. Should specify that the 80-85 is salary, not including bonus. But bonus last year for SC1 was 5k and under. This is also specifically in Canada (I think Vancouver is actually lower than this too)

With 2 yoe unlikely to come in as an sc2.

Hi all, I have a question regarding retirement accounts. I am not sure if I should choose a Roth or 401k (company has 4+2% match). Currently 23, base salary is ~100k and investments have brought 45k this year which has me teetering between a 22-24% tax bracket. Wondering what the usual tax bracket is of people retired (around 65yo) as I’m not sure anything would bring in significant income with the exception of investments. In my case would a Roth make sense? Appreciate any answers!!
