I used the Shon Harris book. Read it cover to cover and did all the practice questions in there, including thinking about why each wrong answer was wrong. Passed the exam with the minimum number of questions being asked.

Hi Fishes,
I am having 4.6 + years of experience as a Manual test engineer and already frustrated with it.
In these years, I haven't learn any technical skills.
Though , I am very good at handling clients, planning and at other required stuffs.
But all these are soft skills which doesn't directly contributed to my resume.

I need your suggestion that which technical skills I can learn online? Has anyone changed their career from testing to BI ( Power BI / Tableau ) ?

I have a few questions for people in consulting roles (both external/internal).

My partner is in corporate banking, but he wants to switch to a consulting/strategy-based role. I noticed people with those jobs typically have an MBA, and also majority of the job ads in similar roles has MBA as either a requirement or preferred qualification. So:

1) does MBA actually improve someone's chance in getting those roles?
2) are there any good Canadian MBA programs you'd recommend?

Thank you all!

Feel like I’ve come to a point in my consulting career where I’ve reached the end of what this job can provide me, career-wise and as an opportunity for personal/professional development. Why is it that when ever I look at “entry level” jobs in IT they always want 2-4 years of experience. It’s entry level that means maybe some certifications if they didn’t major in the field or a degree in the field. Not 2-4 years already working in the field. Can someone please explain this to me?
