Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

I’m sorry... am I missing the part where people from McK were anything but helpful and slightly self-deprecating on this thread??
I agree OP, this is concerning and should be reported. It sounds like you and McK2 are taking this offline to figure out the appropriate resource, but if that doesn’t work then post here and let’s connect.
I’m a big supporter of recruiting in my office and region, and agree with other McK folks that we do everything we can to make sure candidates feel supported and prepared. For free.
And D2, I’m not sure what crawled up your butt and died, but your negativity and snark are definitely not welcome when some of us would like to address what we perceive to be a serious issue

Out to her to offer interview tips and prep for a fee ($300!) to increase her chances of success during upcoming interviews...
OP, let me see what I can dig up. These are serious allegations, and genuinely upset me. This absolutely shouldn’t be the case. If I posted a burner, would you be ok to connect offline?
Could whoever left this D out kindly pack him up and put him away for the evening?
Violates every ethics rule we have. Throw the book at this idiot please.
BCG1- agreed. I dedicate a significant portion of my free time to help candidates prep and ensure they are ready
Jesus D1 has quite the bone to pick 😘
Haha D1 I’m not triggered by you.
I think D1 has a crush on me 😘

In all seriousness I would just email her recruiter and they can take it from there
Surprising. Long before MBA/BCG, I went through lateral process and McK and BCG. Both, but especially McK made me feel well supported and well prepped... for free
Sorry that was a bad joke, don't use that email.
I don't know of any email to report ethics complaints; we have internal resources but they're internal. If she doesn't want to taint the process, then maybe you can let the recruiter know after her interviews are done?
McK people on FB lately are some snarky a-holes. Rapidly losing respect.
When I went though the process MBB folks were super helpful to me.
MK2 restoring my faith ☺️
As per allegations...unless is a case of stolen identity or the McK person in question is lying about his current employment with McKinsey (but it is verified that he was an employee in the past through common alma maters databases), there is more than allegations.
My friend showed me the emails in which the person in question reached out directly to her offering the services and his profile where he posts his “career services” on candidates prep boards.
Agree with others on lots of advice and guidance provided to candidates “for free” (well paid by my company!) and thus shocked at this “shark"
