London comp: I’m looking to move from one of the few fund of funds outside of London and looking at associate roles in VC fund of funds + co-investment or PE secondaries/buyout. Recruiter has told me salaries are £100k/£130k respectively. What are peoples salaries + bonus for these or similar roles in London? Would also be interesting to know analysts comp.

The reason behind this is that I applied for a different job (SC) before the summer but didn’t get it, now they ask if I want to go into this role and they want to secure it soon. I’m working at Management Solutions in my Rome since I have the desire to work abroad I sent my CV around the Europe.
Deloitte called me from Barcelona to schedule an interview with the HR.
The position is in the accounting sector of Deloitte DBS. They told me that the base salary (I’m an entry level) is 18k per year. In Rome I’m actually earning 28k+1k bonus.
Anyone knows why there’s such a great gap in salary? Tomorrow I’ll have the interview so any comments could be helpful. Thx

Ex-big 4. Now at a smaller consulting firm at $250k base and I’m not in a major city and no mortgage or debts. I’ve been looking to move to FAANG but I guess I’m just not technical/lucky enough. I got an offer from ServiceNow as a “principle consultant” salary+bonus $200k and $100k stock - it’s an opportunity to add tech brand to resume. Yes, there’s a pay cut but my current company is not a major name. What would you do? Keep trying for FAANG or move to SN even if it’s consulting? THX
