Tata Consultancy I am a manager in Capgemini... have an offer frm TCS. the designation being offered is Assistant Consultant.. 9.8 years experience( 5 yrs with Cap) Even though I am getting a package of 25Lakhs.. it seems like a demotion in designation.. Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. Mornin’ Copywriter. The short answer—both are acceptable as a matter of speech. That said, ‘black’ as a descriptive term is more inclusive than African American, as it takes into account black people who may not be African American (African, Caribbean etc.). Hope that helps.
I say go with black at all times. Look at it this way: would you call a black person, born and raised in London, African American?

I don't mind either of those 2. As long as you don't put "the" in from of it...I'm sure many feel the same...I.e. African American Chamber of Commerce, Coalition of 100 Black women, etc. As examples...
