What is the most embarrassing thing you have accidentally shown on your computer to an audience when screen-sharing on Zoom/Teams?

My team is trying to find a better way to track talent. We have an ATS we like for everything but tracking the talent pipeline. Anyone have good one off tools they use for talent pipeline tracking? Even better if it integrates with Microsoft Teams.

My MIL (with whom I had a strained relationship) passed away in January, and there was a funeral in February. Due to COVID, they limited the number of in person attendees to 40 and had a zoom link. The family now wants to plan two more events for her across the country over the next 5 months. Are other people doing this? She was neither royalty or a president but a local school teacher so this feels both excessive and unhealthy to perpetuate this for 5 months.

I am the partner leading our local office lgbt group. What should I be doing to engage more with our people during this time? Zoom once a month only goes so far I think but I have run out of other ideas.

Moms with school-aged kids whose schools are doing remote learning through the fall - how can your teammates support you? As in, I’m a childless person who wants to help out my teammates w/ kids somehow, such as offering to do a zoom story time or something with the kiddos if parents are swamped and lesson teaching is falling on their (vs school’s) shoulders.

Had no problem speaking in meetings in person. Can’t seem to get a word in edgewise on Zoom. Any advice?

At the end of the week I also end up with a bunch (50+) of open Outlook windows related to meeting invites. Basically, I look at my calendar, double click the invite then join the Zoom meeting. It takes me directly into the meeting and leaves the invite window open. Wash, rinse, repeat and by Friday there is literally one for every meeting I attended. Unfortunately, you can’t close them all together because it will ask you “Want to save your changes?” for every single one. Thoughts?

I have money issues, despite making 140k TC and my partner making 70k, we struggle to come by comfortably. The mortgage, the car payments, credit cards. I am literally depressed as I am having a hard time saving. I literally go into Walmart and choosing food choice based on the price per 100g. It is sad and horrible… I think twice before adding those snacks into the cart. And I never dare to buy more than a weeks worth. Don’t even talk about marriage costs and the like
