Hello, I'm looking at a position within Paypal. My question, what is the work life balance, expectation for office (hybrid/remote/other) and is the pay comparable to other companies? Reviewing Director and Senior Director roles on the business side. I have over 15 years experience with multiple degrees. TIA!

I've had a hybrid role for the past 4 years where I get unlimited sick days (well 14 really until fmla kicked in), 3 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days. I am also given the week after Xmas off. if my toddlers are sick I can work at home with them. Interviewing w fortune 500 that offers 15 pto days that have to use for sick days too.Strictly in office job 9-5 and dress bus.prof. These bad benefits? Outdated culture?I am a seasoned professional. Seems tough.

Same and same. Really, I don't mind 5 days if I'm WFH. If my company really wanted ot keep me, they'd let me work at home in my pajamas because the second I find a remote job, I'm out of here!!
I'd be happy to have either a remote position or a four-day week. As it is I'm at the office five days a week like someone in the Mad Men era. The only benefit we've got that's better than average is our health insurance, so I wouldn't mind having that forever.
There is only one thing for me. Give me lifelong WFH with a true flex schedule, and I’m locked in for life. As a single mother of 3 kiddos, that's all I need to be happy and working hard.
Pitch this to my management, please! I would retire with my company if they offered both of these. We went back to 5 days in office at the beginning of this year, and I've been looking for new jobs nonstop as a result. I miss WFH so much.
Oh that 4 day work week would be the golden ticket for me, too. But I wouldn't want to work 10 hour days. If I could make what I make with a 32hr/4 day work week, I would stay put forever.
I’m finding it hard to search for other things because work from home is so ideal lol
