Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.

I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. Are stock refreshers based on the initial RSU grant or solely based on performance? Google

Range is massive. $130K-$200K. Median is $150K.
200k, pre-bonus
It's sad people are laughing because you can make that very easily at a big 4 in a HCOL city in the US in USD so $268,000 at just the Manager level.
Uhhh I’m M and I make more than 100k. SM I would say ranges from 135 - 180
Does this range include the bonus ? Or bonus is over and above this
Chief
Senior managers start as low as 110k - 215k ... That's the range at Deloitte
Mostly you will find at an average of 130-150 ...
I’d say this is on point for Big 4. I’d put the median at $150K. Top 10 percent is $185K, so if you’re making anything more than that, you’re pretty overpaid.
After a certain salary range you realize each additional bump is just a few hundred dollars on each pay stub (i.e. So much tax is taken away). It'll probably get worse once the government tries to recoup all their spending to keep us afloat during COVID
100k
Depends on firm! I make about $180 base as a C
One of MBB. Post MBA role
M is 80 to 120 ish
Does this figure inclusive of bonus ? Or is this just the fixed component
Would say 140 is average - I’ll be that next year as a homegrown consultant so generally paid less than experienced hire
