Not a good time...bench is deep as hell and you'll struggle to find chargeable work.
Not so sure on those #s MSC 1 since I'm an M3 MC and at 165.
There's some overlap with M and SM- but SM goes up to 260 base at 4yrs. Range is 180-260. If after 4yrs you don't make MD@you're out and that includes coming in with credit for time at level (I.e it's your first actual year, but you negotiAte 2yrs credit for experience at level, then you only have 2yrs runway to make MD).
A1- OP is asking for Accenture Strategy specifically, runway is a bit smaller unfortunately :(
SM1- 160 base. SM2-180 base SM3-210 base SM4-260base SM5... you're fired if you don't make MD by 5th yr in Strategy.
ACN Strategy- M1, 160 base, M2, 170 base, M3 185 base. Bonus is roughly 15 - 30% individual, ~10% global (special pool for M and up). These are standardized bands across ALL of strategy. And it's up or out - if you're hired as M1, need to make SM1 in 3 years or you're gone, you get the point
I think SM runway is 5 years - but ^^ you're right, it's adjusted depending if you come in with prior work credit. As an example, I'm M2 since I got hired a year ago with 12 months Prior work credit. So I need to be on trajectory to make M3 this next promotion cycle
Got ya MSC1, for some reason I thought SM runway was 5 yrs, guess I was wrong
Following..
That does seem quite low, shouldn't M1 base be close to or above 160 already for strategy? Thanks for your input
What about SM salaries? They are hiring directly for SMs, hence my original question. Thanks!
Thanks all! MSC1 does that mean when you get to SM salaries are no longer standardized? Just trying to understand if it's possible to negotiate salary or if the only way to do that is to come in with a certain amount of tenure credit.. thanks!
I'm Accenture Strategy- all salaries are standardized regardless of ranking. Negotiating tenure may hurt you if you don't acclimate fast enough.
