I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?
Anyone has joining on 10th october?
McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.

Coach
Hey! Our hierarchy may be a little confusing, it was meant to mimic levels at banks (with a slight change). Here it is:
Pre MBA: Consultant (very rare)
MBA: Vice President (relatively few hires)
2+ years post MBA: Sr. Vice President (this is equivalent to PM/EMish)
4+ years post MBA: Director (the bulk of the firm is at this level, I would say this is equivalent in level to Deloitte SM)
Made man/woman: Managing Director
The tenure guidelines are tricky, since we don’t have up or out. You’ll see people making it to MD in 2-4 years per level or just stay at SVP/Director for a while. Most stay at Director.
Can you help us out and tell us what D SM comp is?
Sorry, I didn’t mean equivalent comp wise. I meant equivalent in terms of hierarchy (I.e. one level below Partner/MD)
Comp is probably similar but SVP is two levels below partner. We have Directors in between.
