Is there a way of bypassing the H1B lottery? I was told by an external recruiter that if I joined their London team, after a year I could go through H1B process without the lottery. My preference is to remain with Deloitte and transfer - can Deloitte put me through without the lottery? Are there stipulations such as minimum tenure or degree types etc?

Has anyone had experience travelling to the US from the Schengen area, while on OPT. I understand that students on an F1 visa are allowed to re-enter, but It’s unclear what happens for students on OPT (not in college anymore)

Guys, I interviewed at amex gurgaon 10days ago and was told by VP that I will hear from HR very soon. But when I checked on HR yesterday, she said interviews are still in progress and it will take a week more to finalize.

Just left the job and the previous company announced hike today 😖(Just 15 days after me leaving the job). Feeling at loss. But they have said they will give it after 3 months to their employees. . I hope the package I have got will be higher than what the hike will bring to them.

I'm a single woman who may or may not get married in coming 2-3 years (I couldn't find anyone, so parents are looking for areangeed marriage).
I'm currently in midst of job changing (currently serving notice period), would it be good for me to search for onsite opportunity now?
I mean if I get an onsite opportunity and then after 2-3 years my parents find an Indian groom for me, would my company let me come back? I don't want to, but still?
