Has anyone sold at IQVIA? What’s comp like?
Hello, what is working in retail banking like at JPMorgan Chase ? Specially the branch manager role. I’m looking in the Columbus area. How is pay, culture, benefits, sales environment, meetings, etc. How easy is it to transition from retail banking to corporate. I hear the Polaris campus has great opportunities, I was thinking about getting my foot in the door through retail then transferring to corporate ?

Best financial advice I got. Don’t spend much on a car regardless of how much you make. A Toyota and a Ferrari will both take you from point A to point B. A certified pre owned can last you years and can usually be paid up front with cash. To each their own though. I know directors that like to splurge and they drive range rovers, audis, bmws, etc. it’s all a matter of preference

If you’re trying to see potential earnings for the accounting profession it would probably more efficient to look at salary reports online. Plenty of data on this. It would be a more accurate representation than asking the about the cars people drive, as that isn’t a measure of earning but more of an indicator on consumer habits
I drive Mustang, it’s leased but I prefer it that way as I change cars when lease expires.
Corolla
I’ve had several corollas and can confirm very affordable on accounting salary😂 also they have some nice features these days
Covid times. Who needs a car 😂
I drive my dream vehicle. Jeep Wrangler 🤷🏼♀️. Guess it’s more personal pref?
Raised by a mechanic, so I pretty much only trust Toyota, so it’s a Corolla til it dies.
Dont let a car define who you are or your success

It depends on your priorities tbh. I’ve seen Associates with Benz, Audi’s and BMW’s and I’ve seen a lot with regular Japanese/Korean cars too. Can you afford the monthly payments on a nice car, probably, but is it the smartest financial move at this age, probably not. But cars are some people’s hobby and they make sacrifices elsewhere like less savings/cheaper rent to drive a nice car.
I own an Infiniti Q70 and an Infiniti QX60. Paid cash for both.
Depends if you have one income household or two income household.
BMW from Craigslist for 7k cash
I bought a new SUV for $46k in cash in February 2020. I feel dumb now. I still plan on buying myself an Aston Martin before 40 if all goes as planned.
Ooooh! Someone is super rich here

Just got out of B4 after 5 years. Still driving my 2009 VW Jetta. It still drives so no reason yet to spend the money on a new car that will do the same thing

Yes you’ll probably make enough at some point in your career to be able to afford at least a C or E class if that’s something you want to prioritize
The answer to this question depends on what your other expenses are. Without rent or a mortgage, you can probably make the payments on just about any car
Depends on your expenses, buy or lease, and whether you think a luxury car is worth it. I know managers and senior managers with Mercedes and Audis, and I know partners with trucks and Subarus. I will be the Subaru partner if I make it there.
I paid cash for a used Bentley GTC in September. All the money I saved the prior 6 months due to covid and a great deal allowed it to happen. It was always a dream to own one!
