Good Trouble: which subjects or lessons might be contentious in your community, but that you feel a moral or professional obligation to address, even if they are not mentioned by name in the curriculum? Do you already teach some of these? What would you add? Which would you eliminate? I am assuming a Middle School or higher population of students.

Ladies, I need advice. I’m mid-20s and feeling painfully lost. For most of my younger years, my identity was rooted heavily in my friendships and social life. Graduating college and then obviously the pandemic took a toll on that, I moved home and many of my friends left the city I had lived in pre-covid. Flash forward to the world reopening, I don’t like my job, my friends live all over, I have a nonexistent love life, and I don’t know what to do next

Amazing leaders, I have been facing some resistance from our offshore offices and need some guidance. Context, I am an Indian and been working in US and Basel for many years now. My offshore office in India is all men (similar to my US and Singapore office), however the moment they realize I am Indian, their attitude towards me changes drastically. For example, the team leader in India office (also 10 years older to me) in a global conference call said that the project needs more experience cont

10+ YOE, experienced hire, and up for promotion to SC this year. My current project is straight up analyst work (absolutely no disrespect). Hello H1B community - I apologize if someone has asked this question already, I tried looking but didn’t find much on the topic. What should I do if my status is expiring in the next month? I was supposed to go to India in April for stamping but obviously couldn’t given the circumstances. Is anyone in the same boat / have any advice?

I received an offer from KPMG as an advisory associate (75k), and a second one from Grant Thornton as a transformation consultant (70k). Im leaning towards the KPMG position, however I’m wondering about salary negotiations; the Grant Thornton position is in a state where cost of living is 15% cheaper than that of KPMG, and I am also in the process of obtaining my MBA (one more semester left). Any way I can leverage/utilize this information to negotiate a higher salary with KPMG?
