Hi all! I’m looking to connect with folks who either work at Coinbase or have interviewed recently for the Business Operations and Strategy Manager or similar role. I am looking to schedule my first interview which I believe is a consulting style case. So any details you can provide, I am all ears. The next interview will be a presentation. Again if you have any experience/advice on this, I’m ready to listen.
Thanks in advance! Help me escape Deloitte pleaseeee. I want this job sooo much!

I just had my photosphere call! Here are a few:
For them, I asked: Any travel fees?
If you’re looking at a second photographer/extra time do you have to hire both if you want extra time?
What’s their style/what do they say to prompt photographs?(to find out how posed it will be)
For you: what is your vision for your wedding?

Answer:
How did you meet?
Tell me what are your plans for the wedding? First look?
Which package are you interested in?
Ask:
What’s your style and philosophy on photographing weddings?
Do you release photos for our use? (Most photographers keep the copyright but issue a release so you can print them through another party)
What format do you provide the photos (do research and check if it’s already on their site though)
How many weddings have you done? And how many at our venue?
In general, the main things are the style of their end product, and how comfortable you are with their personality. The above questions are a lot of plain logistics and to gauge their personality. I spoke with three photographers and the first two specifically made me uneasy - just simple stuff like they felt too casual and laid back, or mentioned that they’re “trying to get back into the wedding photography business”, whereas the 3rd photographer was type A and will help direct me places (which I wanted someone type A so that I didn’t have to be the one worrying about things, plus we don’t know the area around our venue well, so I wanted her direction on that, whereas the first two were very go with the flow).
Best of luck! Also you can Google questions to make sure I didn’t miss any - there are plenty of articles, but the above is typically how my conversations went.
Hi there! You can ask them if you get the rights to your images. You can also ask how many images you will receive.
Ask if the images will be edited and if they outsource the editing. They might ask you about the price. Tell them your budget first.
You can also ask them about their previous work. Most of them have sample photos with them so take a look at those photos after the interview.
