Hi,
If I get referred at IBM, get a mail for details from the HR but do not reply as I currently don't want to switch because of some reasons, can I get referred again after say 3 months?
Asking cuz the profile blocks for an year after applying/getting referred at Accenture.
Please help with the answer.

Why do people over share their business???? I don’t get it! Just tell them you are pursuing another opportunity that is not a competitor. It’s none of their business!! Better yet, tell them you are taking time off to travel. How will it serve you to share details?? If someone doesn’t like you they could reach out to your new gig and drag your name through the dirt.
What is your reason for leaving? Is it a lateral move? If no, “I’ve enjoyed my current role and have learned a great deal, but I’m looking for an opportunity with greater scope and new challenges where I can continue to grow professionally and make a broader impact.”
new opportunities and challenges. always keep it vague and generic and never badmouth your current/prior employers.
Want to experience a different company culture, or ways of working/processes. Feel have met growth limit within current role are three good ones for starters.

As a former recruiter, we always asked why one person would leave one big 4 for another given. The work is very similar, but we always looked for people with a big 4 experience also. Exposure to a specific industry that one of the firms might have a larger footprint in is a good one. Not getting promoted is not a good one. In my experience, most firms won’t take the risk of hiring you at the next level unless there is a really good reason such as you being able to bring in new revenue immediately. Superficial responses won’t work such as the ability to work remotely, better, benefits, etc.
Why would you leave Deloitte? There is no other firm like us
The key to your response is in telling the full objective truth, only delivering information relevant to the question.
When preparing your response, ask yourself: “what are the facts?”, “is it necessary?”, “is it affirmative?”.
Using I-statements, and eliminating emotional padding is sufficient. The truth is not mutually exclusive, find the root of the issue for /you/.
To pursue greater opportunities, felt like the job you are applying for is better suited to what you had in mind. Give answers to why you want to take that job rather than be over descriptive of why you want to leave.
You know you're saying the right things when HR likes your message 😝
Be honest and respectful is always the way to go. Nothing wrong with changing jobs for whatever reason you believe.
That is why I said respectful…😊
Nobody's business.
I’m not sure that will get you the job lol
What is the actual reason you want to leave?
Usually pay or culture; which was both for me when I moved in the last couple of weeks
Well, I left a chemical company to a Biotech Company, Genentech. When I gave my resignation letter to the president of the chemical company division, not to my direct manager is considered unusual. When the president asked why, I mentioned several individuals in leadership are bullies. When the business director mentioned to me you are leaving. My first response is Genentech was number one in the Forbes 100 best place to work, and the second response was him. He responded that he appreciated my candor, and never responded during my last three weeks before leaving. Initially, I did not want to leave the company, but the business director prompted me to look. Well, I went from a so so company to a great firm.
