Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

Find a biz ops role in consultant friendly company that has history of letting consultants transfer to pm
Biz ops is not the way to product. Most good product managers know that since the skill sets are completely different. Find a firm/role that gets you must closer to product (within consulting, professional services, or industry) and do that for a bit. You can also look for trainings or boot camps to supplement skills. But with your low YOE, backing away from strategy ops now is a smarter play IMO.
Tech-oriented roles, then b-school to make a pivot?
Not looking to go to b-school for mba
FB / Google are doable but difficult from an MBA
Netflix is pretty tough and nearly impossible from an MBA
Apple is weird and depends on the team
Amazon - you can probably get into from MBB
Where are you nowadays?

Get hands on PM roles at the firm you're at, transition to a PM role at a startup, apply to FAANG
Maybe check out LinkedIn and see the path others have taken? Network with them?
Undergrad degree?
Product facing roles where you interact with a lot of PMs on the job. Strategy/ops/ specialist etc. I did something similar.
