I got a job as a infrastructure consultant right out of college 3 years ago and later became a solutions architect at the company I am at now. I have a degree in CS and never really got the chance to use my programming skills (Java, python, Springboot framework). Working as CAL Manager with Accenture S&C India. Offered ~GBP 76.5K (fixed plus flexi) at Manager Grade by Deloitte London.

Prior to Accenture, I have already served as S&O Manager with Deloitte India for ~1.5 yrs - so this would be my second stint with Deloitte as Manager "again".

2 questions:
1. Should I ask for Senior Mgr (AD) grade - to which they have already said NO
2. Is GBP 76.5K sitting at the lower end of M grade in Deloitte UK? What should be a good expectation for the role

My husband wants to get into PM work in construction (Ideally WFH). Currently he’s doing lighting protection but has been very ambitious and deals a lot with multiple contractors on sites. He should be taking his Journeyman certification test early next year. Any advice for how he can make the shift into the PM world? I work for a big GC in an entry level role. Most of the work is private, but they have some public projects in their portfolio. I graduated college this year with a civil engineering degree. How safe are CM jobs, especially at the entry level, with a probable recession in the near future?
