It also might depend on what you were making at your last employer

Thank you! I don't have an MBA but this is super helpful in terms of negotiation. Also I'm in NYC so I'm assuming there are ranges when it comes to geography as well.
I just came in as an experienced new hire around 100k but I didn't have much negotiating leverage.
