The week before XMAS and it feels like the full moon in the ER. My husband is having an existential crisis, my best friend is crying at work, my mentees are in tears over Zoom calls, partners are quitting - the mental health challenges seem to be on overdrive right now. I’m just trying to stay sane enough to help manage this circus; my self-care today is working on my couch with the video turned OFF, eating as much chocolate as I want and scheduling a “meeting” to get some cardio this afternoon.

Hey all- I’m a L&D Professional with some sales experience. I want to jump into Sales L&D but many roles require sales experience. I’ve helped close complex sales for large scale project work but have never been held accountable to monthly revenue targets since it wasnt my primary role with the exception of a brief time spent as an SDR. Hey all, I'm approaching my 1yr anniversary in my current role, and I'm curious of what I should expect in terms of a raise.

I started at $57k base last year, with OTE of $70k

I received a small raise at the start of this year, along with a new comp plan so current numbers are $59k base and ~$80k OTE.

This role is in a life sciences vertical. SDRs in this vertical w/ a year of experience average 60-70k base.

I'd like to land at $65k, thoughts?

Finally after many rejection, i have an offer to me as BDR for a saas company that just setting up a new team here in my country. I count myself blessed though was through a recruiter that arranged the interview and offers. The Comp $55k base + OTE 40% of the base + Health coverage + 4days work week. What did you guys think?
