Apply to jobs and jump ship, save your sanity some people are just jerks
Z manager wants his own people. You should start looking to transfer or move companies.
I basically agree with others comments. However, have you been able to back up your work with facts? Have you documented your own work and performance (the how and what you did)?
Remember not to give Manager Z the "ammunition". And that is just so there is no good reason for him to let you go, while you look for other employment. At times because you're walking on eggshells, it's easy to get angry, come in late, slack off (just all part of unconscious behaviors when we're not happy).
What kind of mistakes exactly? Ultimately it’s about documentation but specific recommendations really revolve around needing more details
Mentor
Need more context on background and what their defense of the others looks like. What did they tell you to do next time? Why is it painful with A&B? Is it just he 4 of you on the team?
Try to make nice with these new team members, but also look for something else. Unless your company is growing, I wouldn’t be surprised if they gradually reduce the scope of your role and eventually let you go after your new team members are up to speed. Chances are they feel there are gaps in your performance that they can’t or don’t feel like correcting.
