What type of matrix evaluation does s&p global use for promotion evaluation? The name of the competency matrix? Also is there any mid year promotion cycle going on? Seeing many promotions.

Promotion to senior after 1 yr is pure BS. Why do firms do this? One year is not enough to expose one to enough variety and develop expertise to review and teach others. Encouraging mediocrity?!
