What type of store is the best to work for vs. the worst? I know everyone thinks the big box stores are the worst, but have you ever worked in a children's clothes store?

I have always loved the idea of working in a bookstore, there isn't anyone around me. But I bet it's a peaceful place to work

Hmmmm the best I would say maybe a stationary store like dasio or miniso

I actually love children’s clothes most say it’s tedious but it give me comfort working with them

Advice and tips for a first time rental property investor?

I am 24 saving up for my first property to purchase at the end of 2021 / early 2022 in the Long Island, NY area.

I’d like to save up around $50K in my HYSA for a property <$400K in LI. Does this sound reasonable?

Does anyone have any advice on investing in the LI area (best location, SFH v MFH) or just general first time rental property buying advice?

Thanks all

Any advice on how to get past this?

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. And when we ask her about it, she gets mad.

I'm worried that if I speak up, she'll make my life even harder. I don't want to lose my job because of this—do you guys have any advice?
