32yo Director, Product and Commercial Counsel at a small specialized pharma (rare/ultra-rare disease) that is steadily growing with great financials.

Been here a year and I am happy here, but the company may be acquired this year. It’s unclear what will come next, but probably not layoffs as we are very lean already and they want to grow still.

I currently make $232k base with a 25% bonus and up to 25% stock grant annually (coming soon).

What’s next?

Wanting to take advantage of the current market. 20K to get going. What are good passive income ideas in todays economy? What would you do?

How much salary provides by Techm? if they provides basis on my previous salary or directly as per the band and expectations?

hi guys! i wanted to ask for advice if anyone can help. currently i’m a scientist at a CRO and i’m doing work that is at least a title or two above mine. feels like im overworked and underpaid. i keep getting rejected to positions i feel like i can fill due to my years of experience. i technically only have been working since may 2020. but i have learned so much so quickly, im already doing method development/discovery work. should i settle for a job title below my current in pharma?

I accepted a $115K base salary, 13% bonus, 10k sign on bonus (scientist supervisor) job and two weeks later, got a $135K base, 17% bonus, and 15K sign on bonus (Senior scientist role) offer from another company. Should I accept the new offer ? How do I tell the previous company about this? Also, I’ve already negotiated with the first company and the $115K base is the negotiated salary. I really do not prefer one company over the other. They’re both great! I’m very confused here. TIA🙏

They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter).
