Any experienced senior managers that have moved between Big 4 firms? Can you speak towards your experience, any struggles, and opportunities in terms of partner promotion? Frankly, EY path to partner seems to be too clouded (long pipeline, no clear direction/path, uncertainty on promotion cycles, etc.) at the moment and I would like to visit all options. Appreciate the input.
Anyone who has/ heard of fbookers who successfully switched roles and gotten a promotion (L3 to L4)? Context I am planning a switch from analyst to data scientist from a non US location to US. However, L4 is needed for this jump (prob due to visa issues). With the current revamp in PSC cycle, I am not sure if I can successfully get promoted by next year and make the jump. To do so, I heard there needs to be 2 EE (for this half and next half). YOE 5, BASE 100K
My company is not offering any COL adjustments this year, not even the yearly 1-5% raise they've been giving out in the past. How bad is this?
Best company to work for? From a money point of view? I work for a startup right now since a year and haven’t gotten a raise yet...
I’m a Project Manager making 90k. Recently, I helped a few friends get hired into the company I work for and they were both started at 10-15k higher than I am currently. One has a few more years of experience but the rest have the same level of experience as I do - in fact, we come from similar backgrounds in terms of roles and companies. Should I bring this up with my boss during pay raise discussions? I feel it’s unfair that people are being brought in at a much higher amount.
Fresh thread for a rate check amongst us producers? I want a raise but think agencies will scoff. At $1200 and want to bump up to $1300. 17 yrs broadcast/video, some awards, agency, brand and post experience.
High performing generalist M&A C (w. Pending SC promotion ) Looking to make a swap from Canada to US (preferably west coast). Anyone have any leads into who is hiring and can help me understand the landscape of US M&A groups? Currently Big 4.
What are the steps to respectfully asking for a raise? After I’ve already sent an email requesting a raise, speaking/asking to a meeting and letting it be known that I deserve a raise.
Hello. I am currently renting a house in this wealthy Boston suburb with my wife and 3 young kids. I just got a new job and can now work remotely anywhere in the US. Since we want to buy our 1st house, I am looking for advice on black mid-class neighborhood with good public schools to raise my kids. Any advice is welcomed 🙏🏽
Is there a way to bypass the promotion policy of not being able to apply for jobs in 2 or more levels above your current level? Especially, if one joined the company at lowest level with over 8 years experience? Reason was, I took a career break for 6 years and to maximise my chance of getting back into the industry, I applied for a role I was almost guaranteed to get. I had hoped it would be easy to rise in ACN but was met with "you can't be promoted 2 levels above", cont'd in comments
Good Morning All, Looking for feedback on promotion raises with a title change inter company. Going from a senior role to associate director role. I've read a lot of mixed reports on negotiating the % of the overall raise.
Any Monitor Deloitte people in here based out of Southeast Asia? What is the avg. salary raise (base + performance bonus) should I expect from 1st year Consultant to 2nd year C? Current performance scatterplot is at highest top right, utilization rate 90%. Thanks!
I've only been at my company for 9 months. Is it too soon to request a raise? I'm at a point in my career where I'm actively being recruited by people I've worked with previously. I got the job I'm in now through a referral, and have since had two former colleagues reach out and offer a significant increase in salary if I come work with them. I finished my master's degree in December and have done really well in my role, but it's hard to feel satisfied knowing I could be making a lot more.
Joined EY TAS mid-Feb as staff 2 (had 1.5 yoe before in audit). With the October promotion now pushed earlier to August, am I still eligible to be considered for that promotion batch? I understand that I'll finish cycle 3 FY22 evaluation in May and maybe half of cycle 1 FY23 in July... Just not sure how the timing works. Also any advice on how to bring this up to the partners would be much appreciated! EY
Your colleague keeps busting your chops because he/she has a terrible sense of humor and doesn’t understand the inside joke. I got frustrated and tried to correct, but oh no no… I should’ve raise my voice even a little or I’m crossing the line.
I’m coming up on my manager promotion in the next couple months, but have gotten an IA Manager offer with great pay bump/yearly bonus/RSUs at a decent size public company. Role scope will be both SOX & Operations, will this be a good path to Controller/CFO? I don’t want to get stuck in IA forever, but I would think the level of operational experience would be good and pivoting out wouldn’t be too hard after a year or two. Thoughts?
Hi UK Fish, going into a promotion (from C to SC) and raise discussion tomorrow at a boutique consulting firm. Currently at 62.5k. Bonus was up to 10% but all I got was a measly 2%, slow pipeline maybe but I wasn't told why (will raise tomorrow). A recent acquisition has resulted in losing our annual xmas week off and a learning budget of 1k. I know for a fact that last year they were looking to hire SCs at 70k. Is a base raise to 75k a fair ask?
What’s the promotion timeline like at meta? Is it YOE based on work based? I’d be coming in a lead counsel
Checked revised compensation on ToD. 12% hike.

Is 110k too low for Sr. Business Analyst at Salesforce? 3YOE. They didn’t mention RSU - only the discount to purchase the stocks..
Hi fishes, Recently I cleared final round of interview with JP MorganChase. I’m currently holding an offer of 7.5LPA and my CCTC is 4.3LPA. How much I can ask with JPMC HR? Can I go with 10LPA fixed? YOE: 2.5 Skills:- Linux, SQL, Python

Hello!! I’m starting a new job on February 1st and will also be going through the remote onboarding. I finally got the official “pass” from my background check yesterday. My biggest issue was just dealing with the company giving the check. They kept asking for the same info several times which was frustrating. So glad that process is over!!
What have you been able to negotiate with brand side offers? Curious to hear what you asked for and what you got.
My wife can’t get EAD at least until 2 years due to pause of perm in Deloitte. Please advice any other options so that she can start working?
Has anyone had experience deferring due to visa/immigration reasons? Is this something the AdComs would accept? I am currently going through the green card process and wouldn’t be able to go to school without abandoning the entire green card process
