What's a good salary for a Biostatistician with no prior work experience?

Hi there! I’m a new grad PT trying to navigate/figure out what a fair starting pay is and if I should negotiate. I will be working in acute care for a well known hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Anyone willing to share their pay and YOE?

Can you help explain why a team would be able to afford hiring an individual under PDM at a higher salary but unable to offer the same package under the Traditional route?

For context, I’m currently negotiating for a role and have expressed some of my concerns. My recruiter has been very helpful, but I’d like to better understand the reasoning before making my decision. The offer is $100k for PDM, but $85k max if brought on as Traditional.

When I negotiated my comp, all my discussions were around me being a junior and I only accepted my comp for that reason (would not have accepted if I was step above junior since it was low). Negotiations happened with HR, but my offer letter and documents never mention junior (but I have proof from HR saying I am a junior). How do I approach this with my boss as I’m not sure she’s aware I’m actually technically a junior? Revolving around asking for a move up + raise

I’ve worked in sales for 12 years (8 years retail sales and management, 4 years inside tech sales and management). I’m feeling the burn and looking for something else in the tech field. From interview perspective, I enjoyed lucidworks interview as the interviews taken by quality people compared to other two companies. But it is a startup.

How much should a person with a Masters in pharm/tox expect to make?

I’m looking to transition from an academic medical center to pharma or a biotech. I have about 8 years of clinical research experience overall — 7 years combined as a CRC (CRC I, CRC II, and senior CRC) and 1 year as a PM. I’m also recently ACRP-CP certified.

Hi I have 5+ yrs of bedside clinical research nurse experience and have been trying to pivot to the CRO world. I have applied to over 40+ positions and keep getting rejected. I have reformatted my resume to ATS but that doesn’t seem to be working either. Why is it so hard to get into the CRO industry and why is my hospital experience not translating? Thanks
