What’s an entry level cyber salary with 0-1 YOE, active secret clearance, security+, military experience, BS in Intel, and MS in cyber (in progress)?

Third yet at a firm in a major market (not NYC). Pay is slightly below market and bonuses are not market either. What is the going rate for a holiday gift for a secretary that I was assigned to 2 months ago but has done some work for me through the year and also a paralegal that I have worked with all year?

I’ve been out of work for a significant amount of time due to Covid decimating my industry. I’ve gone on many interviews and had a few final rounds. I finally received an offer today. The pay is more than I’ve ever made & team seems great. I just can’t help but feel a little disappointed bc it’s not the industry I was in before which was the whole reason I went to law school to begin with. Hey guys I have offer from cisco system and checkpoint cyber security . Checkpoint is offering x+5 in base where as cisco is offering similar amount in joining bonus. Overall per year ctc is also differs by 3 lac (y+3) in checkpoint .

So considering recession and mass layoff which one will be right option to select in terms wlb, job security and future growth .

FYI : checkpoint is starting r&d division in India I will be first person to be hired for the same role.

Got a verbal offer from Grant Thornton. The recruiter told me that they would get the paperwork over by Thursday or Friday. I mentioned that I am strongly considering the firm however I have other companies that I am also considering so I will be making my decision based on that. The recruiter then mentioned that I’ll likely have 3 days to respond after the offer is given. Is this normal? What should I do? Can I ask for an extension?
