Long post alert; I have been interviewing with a b4 for a senior con role since Mar end. Cleared all the rounds including case study and got strong rating as well as good feedback. Fast forward to last week, the talent POC calls me up and informs that she has asked the business if the position is still open, because now they just need the business approval to roll out the offer. I immediately felt demotivated as to ‘why now’ after all rounds have been cleared (continued in the comment below)

My current CTC was 11.27 LPA with LWD on 28th Feb in Wipro and I am expecting 20 LPA from TCS
My YOE is 9.7 Years in SAS/SQL/SAS Macros.

What do you suggest here , will TCS give me as per my expectation or at what salary should I get satisfied.. ?

I have been offered a position at a non-US B4 with a 2 year path to partner. I know one of the partners at the local firm and have the support of the regional service line lead, and am bringing a specialized skill set they are trying to open a new business around. The KPIs seem achievable and I’ll be in charm school to help build support within that timeline. Most of me thinks a 2 year path under these circumstances realistic but my inner skeptic is jaded. Partners, till what age can an SM realistically hope to be considered for Partner promotion?

If I accept the promotion to Partner/Principal what's the least number of years I could work without it being a financial mistake. I have an opportunity to do something completely unrelated that's my passion, but I feel like that's the wrong decision when I'm this close.

The other opportunity should still be there for 2-3 years

For partners with kids ~13 and up. How many sporting/music events do you find yourself missing? I’m making it work with weekend stuff, but I know as they get older more happens during the week.
