What would be a reasonable total comp to exit into medtech or health tech corporate strategy role at senior Manager level? The next level above is Director. Credential is MBA and PhD and 3 YOE post MBA. I’m assuming there is a discount compared to Pharma but is that true? I am thinking base + expected bonus should be at least $210k. Is this too high or low?. Thank you for your insights!

Considering moving to Shopify for a BD manager type of role in the US. Love the company, role is interesting and the team seems great (met them already). However, I have read comp can be low at Shop compared to other big tech in the US (even though there could be a lot of upside with the RSUs). Anyone know comp levels at Shopify? And overall career progression path (fast or slow)? Thanks!

Hi guys. Have anybody appeared for any data engineering interview recently. I am currently 2.5 yrs experience and JD requires 3 yrs experience. I have passed my first round and next is coding round. What kind of coding questions I will be getting. Note : my first interview as a data engineer. Quite nervous.

My work was very understaffed prior to COVID. I hope the healthcare industry learns from this experience and increases staffing appropriately.

I noted that people mentioned not to include your picture on resume to avoid any bias. But you still have to go for a face to face interview. If the hiring process is biased, then they will just reject you at the stage when they get a chance to see you in person. Thoughts?

I need advice on when I am, and am not, permitted to buy publicly traded stock shares in which (A) the company is a firm client and (B) I did work for the company. In both scenarios, I lack material nonpublic information about the company; however, I also don’t want to risk the SEC asking questions. Is a 6 month or year-long cooling off period a good rule of thumb? Say after the IPO and doing zero work for the company? The trade would be under $10,000. Any advice would be appreciated. TIA.
