What’s RTO like at K&E Chicago office? Enforced, and if so, for just associates or across the board?

Not at K&E, but love how literally every answer has been different and runs across the entire gamut.

Group specific. Avoid M&A

My understanding is that Chicago lit associates were told they were doing fine with basically two days in the office during their annual reviews. There is virtually no enforcement in Chicago lit in my experience.

like

Across the board Tuesday through Thursday in office. It is understood they monitor attendance.

like

Is that for associate or partners?

There's also no enforcement in Chicago M&A. Some associates legit never come in lol I don't know what anybody above is talking about. Tuesday through Thursday is the written policy but it doesn't matter

like

Very loosely enforced.

like

No strict enforcement in my group, and you can probably get away with just 2 days in office per week. Some important people monitor occasionally

Expecting an offer this week or early next week, but want to know when you start negotiating the salary? When you receive the call from the company or wait until receiving the formal offer letter? And how should the negotiation start? Through phone calls or emails? Didn’t use recruiter for this position, so I don’t know what is the process here.

Welcome to our pre-k inclusive classroom. Even with 8 students, and only face to face for 4 hours, we struggle. We struggle being heard through our masks. We struggle with social distancing. We struggle as we find ourselves constantly reminding students to keep their masks on. We struggle to keep them engaged and to teach. One thing we do not struggle with- building connections and showing out love for each child.
