Uptown
I lived in Euless for year, right by the airport, flew out every week. If I moved back I would def be in Ft Worth though.
If you are going to be traveling a lot, being close to the airport is nice. I live in Grapevine, 10 mins from door to door at DFW. When I first moved to DFW I lived in uptown, but as an older (early 30s) and married guy, it just wasn’t my scene.
Most younger (like <25) people want to live in uptown. I did it and it was fun. I recommend The Village though if your more price conscious. Still centrally located, lots of stuff within minutes of you, access to “the country club”, and tons of younger people live there. Lived in the Dakota, recommend it.
*in Uptown, West Village and State-Thomas. The latter two being parts of Uptown
Can't beat the concentration of young professionals/ bars in Uptown when you first move to Dallas.
Adding Oak Lawn and Design District to the list!
Thanks all! I’m leaning towards village - seems affordable and accessible to fun places
E2 is being dramatic, village is nowhere near a ghetto. But there are other apartments closer to Uptown- check any of the Gables or Post apartments for good spots for recent grads
The Village
Live in sky house dallas with me
Are you just graduating from college?

South Lamar area
Addison is ok
Lower Greenville
I’d say don’t worry about distance from airport. There are 2 airports and tollways all over the city. If you want something more affordable the village on lovers and 75. Lot of recent grads there. West village is good but expensive
Yes I am just graduating from college.
Yeah Uptown, West Village and State-Thomas are the happening areas. If transit accessibility is a factor either Las Colinas or the CentrePort area (76155). If you’re Desi then definitely Las Colinas as all the good Indian food is in Irving. Personally I’d avoid Addison, it’s an older crowd and more suburban
West village 100%
Use this guy: you’ll get a $100 credit and he will help you find a place - Brandon.moses@gmail.com. He’s an apartment broker and I highly recommend him!
Yikes. The village is trash. You’re a consultant- you can do better. Go visit one of the Apts first. Also far af from everything (except the ghetto)
It’s literally 3 exits from uptown and on the other side of the highway from Southern Millionaires University...
Exactly, the other side of the highway is where us from southern millionaires don’t go.
