What's the best field to go into in finance?

Does the size of the deals you work on impact your exit opps? I'm considering a role at an MM firm (non-PA firm) and they mentioned the deals are usually in the $200M area of size, which I realize is smaller than big 4 deals

Midtier Valuation Advisory to Banking? I have an offer from a midtier accounting firm (BDO) for their Associate position in the Valuation Advisory team.

I’m thinking to switch to the Advisory role as a stepping stone to break into banking in a few years, or if that’s not possible then into Big 4. However, still considering accepting the offer because will be getting a 25% pay cut.

I’ve been working in Sales in a non-finance field for few months after finishing BBA in Finance & CFA L1.

Is senior manager at PwC equivalent to senior manager at Deloitte .. consulting in b/w

Path at Deloitte : BA > C > SC > M > SM > P
Path at PwC : C > SC > M > SM > D > P

So can I say as a SM in D , you should only go for Director at PwC ?

Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?

Is there such place as non toxic ID firm? Or does any of ID attys like what they do? I moved from general practice to an ID firm six months ago. Biggest mistake of my life.
