My SO is trying to jump from non-profit to corporate & has not found success with his current job app approach - he’d be a great candidate (obviously I’m biased) but it would take someone to take a chance on an applicant that doesn’t have a traditional background.

I'm studying Finance and Investment and will be graduating in Sep 2022. Have an experience as a Finance executive of 2.5 years and currently working as a junior Financial Controller at London based firm as a part-time till Sept 2022. I want to join BIG4 as I always wanted to join BiG4. So shall I go with the Entry-level position or can apply for an experienced one? I feel that there are certain areas to improve before applying experienced one. Any suggestions?

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

Hi I have 5+ yrs of bedside clinical research nurse experience and have been trying to pivot to the CRO world. I have applied to over 40+ positions and keep getting rejected. I have reformatted my resume to ATS but that doesn’t seem to be working either. Why is it so hard to get into the CRO industry and why is my hospital experience not translating? Thanks

I'm two years into this job where I lateraled, and I need at least one partner to "sponsor" me to have a future with the firm. Some have mentored me here and there, but they seem uninterested in really discussing my prospects for moving up /growing. I don't know if they just lack power in firm management, or if they lack enthusiasm about me. Should I ask my top pick if he will look out for me? If I feel like I have to ask, it's a no, right?
