What’s the best way to prepare for a final interview? In your experience, are these just more behavioral questions?

Hello there. I have been interviewing with Okta and got through all 5 rounds of interviews. They say they want to offer me the job but there is a global freeze for all marketing roles at the company. They want to offer me a contractor role instead. Does anyone here know if that is the case? I haven't heard anything as they seem be on wellness week. Thanks for any guidance :)

Do you keep interviewing after offer signed and background check cleared?

1st yr at a nyc v50 firm doing general transactional work. I know the lateral market for transactional lawyers is hot but not as hot for juniors. I just want a change of scenery because my current firm is bleeding good associates / not giving great training imo / and just seems small. Would lateralling this early feasible? Would it look bad on my resume?

I've been applying to jobs for months but every position wants at least 2yrs of experience in real estate transactions, usually way more. I'm at 1yr+ doing HOA/condo work but have had no opportunity to do real estate transactions like I expected. Seems like the only way to get the experience is to have nailed a big law gig right out of school and get put into that practice.

I’m a senior planner leading one brand and there’s a new strategist on the team working on a sister brand. Trying to get ahead of my caseload feels like trying to climb a hill made of loosely-packed pebbles. No matter how much I scrabble, I’m sliding closer and closer to the bottom.

How do you get caught up (or even ahead) when you’re always behind? Assume that all things that can be offloaded have been offloaded. I cannot take one more all nighter trying to get a motion drafted two days before the deadline because I couldn’t get to it earlier.

I know I will get hated by saying this. Do you think gay pride events are portraying a bad image about our community to public?
