Trying to get out of consulting. Ux is so watered down and I’m terrified that it’s going to stunt my growth. I’m overall just not happy. I'm confused whether to join TCS now itself (which might be too soon to settle down) or go for CTS for next 2 years. Please suggest me. Been with Big Four advisory (GRC) for 10 years. Really tired of meaningless “consulting” and commoditized implementations. Recently been through a rough job search and finally landed an offer with a mid size bank in their risk practice. People say that the culture there is quite political and bitter but I’ll learn a heck lot and get a new opening on my resume. Salary is the same.
